Patton, mother said he had just graduated the training, but was sent to Korea as an infantryman.

Like you said maybe because he never jumped except during the training that he just never added it or wore it.

Not sure, I do remember him talking about jumpin off of platform an such before they actually jumped from the planes.

Larger thats the seven, but seems the patch was a little different. But hey its been a while since I've seen it.

I'll see if I can find it.

Sorry for the delay.  I got a duplicate set of medals from here:  http://www.archives.gov/veterans/military-service-records/

 

Click on the button that says "submit your request online", then you can fill out the application and on step #3  where it says "comments" put in there that you are requesting a replacement set of medals.  Then you will have a fresh new batch to put in an awards case or something like the others posted a link to.
