Good for you!

Now buy that Glock that's needed to round out the collection. lol

I know. But now I have a colt, so I guess my 1911 hunt can finally come to an end. Then again, I will be picking up a rock island compact 1911 tonight. And its chambered in  9mm, so I cant wait and will have pics up asap. And I am also on the hunt for a glock 19. Didnt care for my 17 all that much, but the 19 felt so good when I shot it.

I like your thinking on the RIA. I have a GI model in 9 that's had a little work done to it. Have the RIA commander in 45. But the 9 would be nice in that size as well.

As far as the 19/17, yes the edge does have to go to the 19.

But...have you tried the Gen 4 17/34? The grip is noticeably smaller and easier to hold. So I'm on the lookout for a Gen4 34 myself.

is that the longer one?

Yes, the 34 is the "ported" slide with the 5" barrel. I hate to call it ported since the barrel isn't. I guess it's just cut to lighten the slide.

But after shooting my 24 with the 6" slide and barrel, I really like the longslide versions.

I will post pics of my new two additions in a bit. A 9mm rock island compact and a glock 19 4th gen. I feel so broke now. All I need now is a m14 and I will be complete.

Sorry for the long wait. Work makes my enjoyment of GTO harder these days since it is blocked on the company web. But here are the other two items I picked up.

I know highpower will approve and this makes the third glock I have owned. Kind of miss my 17, but not that 30.

And this little bad boy chambered in 9mm.  Now I know my rifle collection hasnt had any new faces added to it in quite some time, but that is going to change with the new parts kit I have ordered from PSA, and I cant wait to finish putting it together. And I am still on the hunt for a full size 9mm 1911 with at least A3 sights.  And a blued remington R1 is also on the list to be the other face of my stainless R1

Sure, you say that now.

For the battle rifles it is. The three main ones are the G3, FAL and M14. After I get these knocked out, then I can move on to a new group
