gunsmith recommendation to chop a barrel and thread?

I am in gallatin and am in need of a gunsmith who can chop a couple inches off of my m&p10 barrel and thread it for a brake.

Who would you guys recommend? Wouldn't mind shipping if I need to but would prefer not to...

I wouldn't do that with an m&p10. It's a thin barrel and there isn't enough material to thread. That's why the factory barrel flares at the end for the fh. Also the m&p uses a proprietary barrel so if it gets messed up, you're out of luck. Edited by Smith

If you really need it done, mike Dresner in oak ridge. Goes by lawenforcementsales on here. Hands down. Wouldn't have a higher recommendation.
