Got bored.  Started tinkering.......ohh god, not agian!

Using a Lee Factory Crimp die for .45 ACP, I removed the guts and set it in the press, touching the shell holder I found that actually fit.

Used some Winchester AA .410 hulls I found at the range, I used the FCD as a sizer.  Then I set up my drill press, locked the quill and used the top of my vise as a reference for a razor blade and proceeded to trim them down to fit the cylinder of my Blackhawk.

This actually worked VERY well believe it or not!!!

Then I used a BPI stup wad cut in half.  The whole wad will take up too much room and you can't get enough shot in there to be worth the effort.

Then used an overshot card and a roll crimper to make the cutest little booger you ever saw!!!

I'm hoping they will at least shred a beer can at 7 yards.  That should be death to any snakes I encounter.

I used bullseye but won't share the charge till I make sure they don't explode in my face. LOL!!!!

Merry Christmas ya'll!!!!

Using 7 1/2 shot I can get about 130g worth.  NOT much, but my runnin' buddy is bringing me some #9 shot that'll work out much better.

Had a good buddy of mine do a preliminary test for me.

Needs refinement.  I got a few really tiny splits in the mouth.  Most likely due to my pisspoor roll crimping.  It needs work and I may up the charge a little, but it's a beginning!!!

He did say recoil was laughable, leading was nada and extraction was very easy.
