Movies for Christmas (or TV)

I grew up in the days before video so pretty much you got what was given which was usually The Sound of Music or a Bond flick. Decided to start watching Bond from the beginning a while back so it's likely to be some "From Russia with Love". I think we're also planning to catch the Hobbit at the local theater. What's on your "to watch" list for Christmas day?

Miracle on 34th Street (1947 version) and  It's a Wonderful Life w/ Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed are my two favorites but I do like the original cartoon version of the Grinch that stole Christmas also...............jmho

A Christmas Story.  I have a sneaking suspicion I might find "The Ref" in my stocking, but being that's not a movie for kids, I doubt I'll have time to watch soon after Christmas.  I hope to see the new Hobbit movie in the theater as well.  Otherwise, it's the typical Bond flicks and/or a football game.

Seriously though, I'm usually too busy on Christmas Day to watch anything. I watched It's a Wonderful Life last week. I usually watch the Charlie Brown Christmas every year too.

Christmas Vacation was and still is my #1...

I think this may be one of those movies that I have only seen "In pieces". We watched European vacation earlier this year so this may make the watch list.

Those, along with all the Terminator movies, are on my "Watch when wife isn't home list."

For some reason, and I really can't understand why, she thinks I've watched them way too much and too often. LOL

Begins and ends with It's a Wonderful Life.  Really no other Christmas movie compares.

Other than that my next favorite xmas flick is Friday After Next.
