So I am at the point where I have put enough rounds down range including multiple brands of the cheap stuff. That I am comfortable with it for it to be a bug. The only issue that needs to be addressed is the grips for me they are too flimsy. Anyone have any experience with some of the a.m. grips out there? I would prefer some type of wood grips that can be switched out having to cut trim etc.

Thanks

Best to let sleeping dogs alone! Have you tried any of the slip on rubber sleeves that go over the factory grips? I use them on my LCP and they seem to work well. Edited by VERO1

I have used the rubber grips on mine and love the ones with the finger slots. It made a 50+% better feel of the factory grips. If you don't want the finger grips but still would like to bulk up the grips for a better feel, buy a bicycle inner tube and cut it to fit and it will also add better feel to the gun. I have done that on a couple of my other smaller semi autos such as my Phoenix 22's and it helps a lot with grip on them also. That's about all I can tell you. You may want to try these less costly ideas before going to high end wooden grips..........................jmho

I ordered a $40 set of walnut grips from Bersa that are slightly thicker than the OEM plastic and fit my large hands very comfortably.  I did have to file a little inside on the upper forward corner of the right grip, but it has been worth it.

You might also check out this guy's thread on the bersachat.com website.  He's developing a non-wood molded set that a couple of members are evaluating before he goes into regular production.
