My new CZ

I think they worked out all of the bugs pretty quickly with the P-07. Several of my friends have newer ones and are all in love with their guns. I've heard nothing but great reviews on the P-09.

I have a CZ Phantom, which is their first full size polymer gun, and I love that gun. It's a little bit less blocky than the P-09, but it doesn't have as good a trigger. 0d068aa326e9d8eeccc4424dea6c9253.jpg

I was torn between the newer p-07 and the older model. I liked the newer finish on the slide, the hammer and the style of the trigger...but the pull on my older model is waaaaay better.

Front serrations. ..meh, take it or leave it.

I would like to have a P-09 though. And a P-01 and a shadow and a phantom and an SP-01, and, and, and.......

Today I added a 13# mainspring ,trigger breaks at on my trigger scale 3.75 #s now and is velvety smooth, best 4 bucks I ever spent on a gun

Very good.  CZ generally uses "too heavy" a mainspring... probably because of the legacy of crazy-hard Eastern Bloc primers.
