My new CZ

I was looking for a "tactical" type 9MM gun for my collection since I didnt own one and I looked and handled 

lots of them before landing on a CZ,

 

Quite possibly the best 9MM handgun I ever shot,it holds 20 rounds,its got a 4# trigger in SA mode and actually hits the bulleyes with my eyes closed   :cool:

I cant say enough good things about the P09. Its built like a tank,I cant think of any polymer gun I have ever felt that was this beefy ,the slide is super thick and the

frame is ultra tough. I promise if you never tried a CZ you should i know you'll own one after giving one a run for its money..best of all it was 500 bucks OTD

Very cool! I've been thinking more and more that after adding a couple other Smiths to my collection, I'll probably start work on a family of CZs.

I've been pleasantly surprised by every CZ I've fired. The make really nice guns.

I'm ambivalent about this iteration of the CZ75 originator largely due to its HPA blocky resemblance. Still it may grow on me with time as I see some good egomaniacal design in the grip, but that trigger guard...argh... Regardless I'm glad your happy with it and am certain it will provide flawless service.

I am a huge CZ fan but I had a tough time when the P-07 came out. CZ ended up giving me a whole new gun. But I am willing to bet that this one is a well running machine.

CZ's will allow you to shoot like a champion ! My CZ75 all steel pistol let me shoot like I had been shooting for 45 years .

I think they worked out all of the bugs pretty quickly with the P-07. Several of my friends have newer ones and are all in love with their guns. I've heard nothing but great reviews on the P-09.

I have a CZ 75b...classic heavy stainless.  Great range gun and backup house gun.

 

CZ PCR...great alloy frame mid size...my favorite CZ so far...need night sights that are hard to find!  That's the biggest downside to CZ products.

 

CZ Kadet full frame gun...my favorite 22...they should still offer this in a full frame gun rather than a kit.

 

I love these threads because the more people that realize how great these products are, the more accessories will show up.  Like the night sights I want.  I find CZ to offer better ergonomics including grip, handling, and bore axis than most any other SA/DA/DC options that are reasonably priced.  I have to say the Rami was not for me though.

I have the PCR also,mines tricked out quote a bit with trigger job and FO front sight  and I have 2 fullsize 75s plus an 82...Im obviously a fanboy now

IMO, it's the best SA/DA trigger system out of the box. Nothing this side of a tuned up 75 trigger even comes close. I bet you'd love it.

A friend of mine has a 75 B with the Omega trigger. That gun is a shooter, very accurate even with me behind it.

i know every shooter is different,but i have quite a bit of trigger time on a p07 with the omega and i like the regular 75b better.they are both great in my opinion but still prefer the full metal ones.the one and only thing that makes me want a polymer is for the rail.

If you want a rail and the metal frame, you still have choices. The P-01 is the compact with an aluminum alloy frame and the SP-01 is the full size. Both have rails and both are fantastic.

My SP-01 has the full-blown CZ Custom trigger job with competition hammer. The DA trigger feels like a S&W revolver from their performance center line-up, but with about a 1/8" reset due to the firing pin block being removed. Worth every penny, IMHO.
