Aside from the TGO contest that we're running, everyone else might want to show off their Halloween decorations, pumpkins, costumes, traps for catching pranksters, etc.

Feel free to use this thread to do it. :P

Not to be a complete and total thread hi-jacker, BUT...

I'd be worried there were legality issues with painting a working firearm orange, considering that all "toy" guns are required to have the muzzle painted bright orange to signify that they are toys, and not real.

Okay... I've had enough fun and let this run it's course.

a) That's a non-firing, practice weapon (22P) that is only available to agencies.

:P Again, that's a 22P (as marked on the slide)... you'll notice my sig line, two lines down from the photo, stating I own/carry a Glock 23.

c) I figured I'd fool at least one person... but didn't think it would be a Moderator, right off the bat. :D

d) There's no way in hell I'd paint any firearm DayGlo orange. lol

You only own one gun?

Isn't that... like... against the laws of nature or something?

Yep, only one carry hand gun at the moment. (i.e. not counting the 1911 that I inherited, or the Bersa .380 that I honestly have no idea where it got stored when I was in Germany but is around somewhere)

I purposely liquidated all my guns down to just the one Glock. I guess I'm a minimalist... just don't see the need for multiple guns, that you can't carry all at the same time, if you have one that fills your needs. I have been tempted by the forthcoming new Colt Delta Elite. Might be cool to own one.

Still need to fill the shotgun niche, too.

My two pumpkins for this year...

#1) Chomp Chomp

#2) Zombie Pumpkin

I want to put a small plate with some dry ice inside the first one so that it bellows smoke from it's mouth. We'll see how that works out.

The second one is my first attempt ever at "sculpting" a pumpkin and I used the face from one of the Zombie Targets for the template. I may need to shave some more of the pumpkin's meat out of the face to let more light through. I'll wait until Halloween before I do that though.

I will try to take some better pictures tonight with my DSLR. These were hand-held shots using my wife's point and shoot.
