It is bad enough terrorists are using anti aircraft guns, now they are trying to kill the environment by using that gas guzzling F-250. Edited by Odessa7979

Cash for Clunkers at work.

I would really like to hear how that truck ended up across the world.

Probably not any more than I would. I would guess ISIS has people in this country buying trucks at auctions for cheap prices and putting them in cargo containers and shipping them where they want the to go. It did take quite sometime between when he traded it and when it appeared on Tweeter. They would have had time to ship it.............jmho It was kind of stupid not removing his company name off the truck before trading it.............jmho

Happens all the time. I saw lots of tractor trailers in Africa that still had the US companies name on them. It takes a special kind of moron to see a picture like that and then call the plumber and threaten them.

There are many ways for a truck to end up over there. The one I heard of recently involved one of those "My shipping representative will pick it up at your house and you do not have to do anything". Also, years ago it was not uncommon for stolen vehicles to find a way out of the country because noone over there would care.

It is just sad people feel the need to call the plumbing company and make threats.  (who are the real terrorists).

I know most of completely idle threats as most people believe and probably are right that they will never be tracked down.

Something completely out of their control, hell they sold it.

I feel for the guy, but I can't imagine trading in a work truck without removing the decals first.

And yes, the people that have called and threatened them.... that's a special kind of stupid.

I figure they didn't want to pay to remove them on a truck they probably were not getting much for.

Second probably thought of it as free advertising while it sat on lots and stuff.

If anyone doubted the fact that ISIS is over here running our streets, this should open their eyes. The truck probably left the country through the open southern border. The same one the buyers entered this country through.

Pay to remove them?  Heat gun, razor blade, and an hour or so is all it takes.

And they've certainly gotten more free advertising than they ever dreamed of...

“We have nothing to do with terror at all,” commented Oberholtzer.

Except for when they hand you the invoice.

It was probably stolen from the dealership before they caught it in inventory, before it went to auction. A lot of trucks w TX tags showed up downrange and guess what? They were all stolen. from ford F series to tahoe and suburbans.......The dealer probably told them THEY would clean it up for the plumber and didnt do squat...
It should have been easy to tell it wasn't his look:

A couple bucks on a some cans of spray paint on the doors would have taken care of this because he would not get any more on trade for a work truck with probably a gazillion miles on it. It had to be in pretty rough shape for the dealer to send in directly to auction to begin with. It was just stupid to not do something with the doors but not near as stupid as people calling the company threatening their lives. That goes beyond very stupid to totally ignorant!!!!!!.........................jmho

An F-250, even a used one is a hot commodity overseas since most foreign producers don't make work trucks that size.  You'd be surprised how many big Fords and Chevy's I saw in Kuwait.  Gas prices aren't much of a problem since the countries sell it very cheaply.
