FYI Estate 00 Buck at SG

I've shot it before and use it for training/practice ammo. It's not well buffered and not so great at holding a tight pattern. But I'm OK with that for practice ammo.

iirc I bought mine at Walmart some time back, but I don't recall the pricing.

I shoot it all the time. Just fine for blasting away, and a good deal there. I bought a bunch from PSA when it was $7/box plus shipping.

24 cents a round shipped? Wouldn't that be about $60?

?? 68.39-10.00 gift card + free ship = .233 / round

You forgot the $0.99 Package Protection charge - came to $59.38, or 23.752 cents per shell. Nice try, though  ;)

Btw, got the Sportsman's Guide VISA card long ago, only use it there. Gives you another 2.5% off final total.

They keep this stuff at the local wallyworld for $12 a box.  It shot clean and functioned okay but I was not impressed by the 25 yard patterns.  Of course I'm shooting from an 18" cylinder bore Weatherby, BUT...3" Hornady Coyote 00 buck will keep the majority of the pellets on center/point of aim for my gun.  These shot very high and to the right.  Consistent, but not very good.  Obviously, everyone's gun will vary.

Are the ends of the Estate 00 shells open, or is there some kind of clear cap or material at the "business end"?

Thinking about buying some of the ammunition and am concerned about water getting into the shell in an outdoor rain environment.

It's clear plastic .

As I mentioned above, it's decent (and currently affordable) practice ammo. I've never had reliability issues with it.

Not sure where you're going with the water getting into it...it'll get wet if you leave it out in the rain.

Good to hear that at least the end of this ammo is sealed. Didn`t know if it would be OK to be outside with it in a bad situation and the rain coming down with an ammo carrier attached to the stock.

I`ll get wet if I go out in the rain! :-\ I just don`t want my ammo to let me down due to moisture.
