I went in a couple of time but found their selection of things a little thin...I frequent Best Buy more often. That said, a deal is a deal no matter the store...

Bought my stove there. They had the best price. And unlike Best Buy, they don't try to force you into buying an extended warranty. Two things I don't like about Best Buy; 1) whatever you're looking at, the sales person tries to talk you into getting something "better." 2) They push that extended warranty saying you're gonna need it, you don't know what a hassle it'll be when it breaks. Personally, I miss Circuit City....

I am guessing they don't work on commission there. We waited about 15 minutes to try to purchase the one we wanted and we were ignored. The one associate walked past us three times and continued to focus on tuning the game he wanted to watch. So we just figured they made enough money for the day or who knows.

I've never had a problem with HH Greg. I've bought from them more than once, but not exclusively. I'd prefer to find a salesperson when I need one than to have one follow me around the store.

Eh, Even though i don't work for them anymore: Electronic Express would have better selection and help than HH Gregg. But I warn you, they are going to try and sell you an extended warranty and any accessories they think you might need.

 

Return policy sucks though, you have 7 days to return for cash, after that it's 30 day exchange.

 

Reason why i buy Best Buy if i'm ever looking for a TV, try to find them on sale at Sam's club if you want the best deal.

I go to Shelby avenue electronics. Just don't buy from the guy in the green mask no warranties haggling welcome, if they ask u for a 9 mm hand them a open end wrench and they'll respect you. Great deals!

HHGregg sales staff are 100% commission. They make their most commission off of their extended warranties. Whenever I've shopped there, I was followed constantly.

We bought our GE washer and dryer there. Lowes had a sale going on and the beat the price. Nice staff. I could tell they were commission as they were very instant on one individual working with you. Not pushy though. This was in Knoxville

Bought our washer, dryer, and fridge there. Happy with transactions all around. They beat home depot, lowes, and best buy's pricing saved quite a bit, and they gave up on the warrantees when I said no firmly the first time.

 

I'll never buy appliances from best buy again. They delivered our new fridge to the last house after a kitchen renovation and managed to do several hundred dollars of damage to the brand new hardwood floors. It took weeks of back and forth to get them to cover the repair bill.

I just bought a Bosch dishwasher from Gregg last week in mt Juliet. I got good service and they beat best buy price. I have bought a couple big ticket items from Gregg over the years with no issues.

they are OK.   Its just a few models of any given product, usually at a good price, and they have amazing sales.   But it can be a pain to get any help in there.  We stood there for over half an hour once wanting a stereo system, gave up and left.
