I miss those old Christmas specials. Unfortunately since the digital TV change over a few years ago we can't pick up network stations in my area anymore & cable is really, REALLY expensive where I live. Now we have to buy everything on DVD or watch it on our computer if we want to watch anything.

Do you have Internet? If so may I suggest you look into getting a Roku. We did so 3 years ago and have not looked back. Direct tvnis no more and we are not paying $80.00 a month for Tv. There are lots of old movies available as well as apps for history channel a and e and a bunch more.

Yes. We used to watch programs on youtube, but now they've started charging fees for a lot of programs. Right now we're trying a trial month of Hulu, & next month may try Netflix or the one you mentioned to see what we like best. We may start selling off our DVD collection to make room & fund a "smart" TV so we don't have to sit at the computer to watch. I've been collecting DVDs for 15 years & the last time we counted & sorted them we had a little over 2,200 DVDs at my house & even they get old after a while.
