Im a student at Lee University in Cleveland. I have my GA GFL and timidly carry with it. For the most part my tools stay in the car or at home. Not to confident with the laws of TN. Any enlightenment of them would be appreciated.

Welcome

There are basically 5 places that are off limits to carry in TN.

1. Inside any place that serves alcohol for onsite consumption. (39-17-1305)

2. In any room where a judicial proceeding is taking place. (39-17-1306)

3. Schools. (39-17-1309 and 39-17-1310)

4. Public Parks and recreational property. (39-17-1311)

5. Any place with a properly posted sign per 39-17-1359

In short, don't drink or get a ticket or go to school or have a picnic or read AND you can carry everywhere you go in TN. he he

Welcome, from another Georgia native.

GA was ahead of many states in allowing handgun carry.

Now you can carry on MARTA!
