Future TGO Pro Tech Knife

Recommended Posts

After the Runt4 I am thinking about dicussing a run of a fixed blade knife for us around May,

I have it narrowed down to two models that I love, The Brend Combat would cost more, but either of these knives will be much lower than the MSRP for each model,

The Spindrift

Brend Model1 Combat

Both of these knives are awesome and each includes a sheath,

Thoughts?

I am buying myself one of each of these and I will evaluate each of them and give you all my thoughts on each when I get them

I suspect both will be beyond my means, but ...   I like the look of the blade on the Spindrift, but the scales look... strange.  They may be wonderful in the hand, but they look odd on the computer screen.  The black-on-black version the Brend is darn sweet.

Yeah, I'm with peejman on these. They look great to me, especially the spindrift with the black G10 handles.

But probably will have to pass on them. For a non-knife collector, lol, I have strained my budget with the newest addiction of mine.

I prefer the Brend, out of those two choices. Whether I'm in will depend on final price and how much play money I have in 6 months :-)

I wonder if Chris Reeve would do a special Pacific run?

I own a Pacific, it is a great knife, I have a friend on another forum that swears by his Pro Tech Brend and he claims that I will like it much better than my Pacific so I will see

Not a fixed blader here , I like the evil spring snappers.

No worries, I am going to do a Godson run towards the end of 2015

so after the Runt, possibly the fixed blade then the Godson are all that I will do in 2015

The last fixed blade knives I bought were the Gerber MK I and MK II.  I like the Brend but a 7" blade isn't very practical for me.

I'll pass on the fixed blade. They look too nice to use like an ESEE and I want to chop down small trees  :)

Or would you guys prefer a Large Auto on this run instead of fixed blade? a TR4 would be much cheaper and they are great knives, just throwing ideas out here, this next run wont be happening until Summer, I will start collecting for it it in May

The TR4 would be a good TGO knife,

Dave will make us a MUCH better deal on the TR4, so I am leaning towards that knife, maybe 2016 for a Fixed blade,

The TR4 are great, they actually have a safety switch on them and include a glass breaker, If you guys will be onboard for this knife this summer, I will make it happen
