That's just not worth it. You can find 5.56/.223 online for under $0.30 a round all day long.

 They are over priced. Oh Shoot, to answer your question, all of the 12,500 round drums I've seen from Academy have been 62gr green tip and I believe they are Federal.

 

 I forget the exact figure but I think I remember them being around 27 cents per round back before Newtown but I could be wrong.

.315 cents a round doesn't seem like a good price to me. The reason I haven't bought or built a black rifle is that at that price I couldn't shoot it, as much as I like to shoot. I can't put $600 in a rifle and have to let it set because I can't feed it.
