Norris has a range  for 200y some say its 220y but I never counted the steps and don't have a range finder ,great looking rifle hope it shoots as good as it looks :)

Thanks guys! It's chambered in 5.56/.223, uses ar magazines. Any ranges near knoxville over 100 yards?

ORSA has a 1000 yd range, but you have to be or know a member and have to qualify to shoot the full distance.

Norris is 200 yards but the 100 yard line is more like 123 yards.

Norris is $40 a year or $20 for the day. Heck, let me know what day you are heading out and I might be able to meet you. I have several guns I need to shoot at 200 yards.

Nice looking boom stick.

Its a 1:9 twist. I'm dying to get to a range myself. I've shot it "plinking" and it's a smooth shooting gun. Great trigger and the compensator makes recoil and barrel jump non existent.

realy sweet.   If your close to fountain city, the john sevier range has a 2 and 3 hundred yard range.  i havent used it yet but the range officers

have told me they just started letting people use it.

Is the 200 and 300 yard range comfirmed? If so that's a lot closer to me then anywhere else.

you might want to call first.  i was told its ok to use by two diiferent range officers, they said one of them would have to be over there with the shooter so going on a slow day would probably be easiest

They have been saying they are going to open the other ranges for a very long time, at least 10 years, but I have yet to hear of ANYONE who has shot on those long ranges. I cannot imagine what sort of arbitrary rules they are going to have in place for them. The rules for the 100 yard bench rest range are idiotic at best then you have a bunch of idiots trying to enforce idiotic rules and it becomes laughable. I have personally seen things I will never forget and heard things that make you wonder how they survived childhood.
