I carry a G17 daily for SD !!!!!

I carry in the SOB w/ a IWB Don Hume Holster (very comfortable) !!!!!

Carry with my T- Shirt-Tail out !!!!

My own sister, the other day at our family reunion could not

tell that I was packing or could no one else at the reunion !!!!!!

This is the way I carry in the summer time and in the winter time

I carry with a belt or paddle holster on my side with some type of concealment ect. jacket, vest or long sleeve shirt unbutton.

If I (5'10" and 165lbs) can conceal a G21 at about 5'o'clock and canted a bit, no matter what I'm wearing (unless it's a skin tight shirt in which case I'll carry something smaller) then you can conceal a G17. Practice moving and walking with it in different positions in front of the mirror or your family, and take it from there.

19 or 17, either one conceals just as easily. IWB is always the most concealable, but I found it too uncomfortable over time. I went with a Comp-Tac paddle, and it's been perfect for me. In loose clothing, I've found the SmartCarry to work very well.

i can easily conceal my G22 (same gun just in .40 cal) with a couple of different holsters. the best IWB that i've found so far is the Comp Tac CTAC...i got the slide version so i can carry my G27 or my G22 in it. i carry the G27 mostly, mainly because it is a little lighter...but the G22 rides just as well in it. if your wearing a jacket, a good paddle holster is hard to beat for OWB, but i have trouble keeping it covered without the jacket on. another option that i like is a belly band holster, i have one that is made by a local guy here in East TN and it is super nice...i can carry the G22 and a spare 15rd mag in it and it doesnt ride up or down, just sits still and stays hidden and surprisingly isnt that hard to draw from...not much harder than a shoulder holster, and you dont need a cover jacket for it...
