Anybody used any ASC AR mags?

Hi guys, I saw an ad for 30 rd ASC AR-15 mags. I see they are priced at $4.95 and can only find a few reviews. They are supposedly made on old C-mag tooling. Just asking as I don't want mags that don't work. Also saw ad for mil spec mags at $89.99 for 10 mags. I didn't list the stores as I didn't know if that was appropriate here. Mac

I've only used the ASC 9mm AR mags. They function fine, but the coating chips easily and wipes off with hoppes 9 or brake cleaner.

I've used C Products 6.5 Grendel mags. Haven't had an issue with the 26 or 10 round mags. Some people reported having trouble with the older 17 round mags, but I think that's been resolved.

Lots of guys with 6.8's use them as low cost alternatives to the PRI's and I've yet to hear a bad thing about them. Seen to be very reliable. I would assume the standard 5.56 versions would be the same.
