How about a write up about the event for those of us who don't know what to expect?

How much it costs. Door prizes, auctions etc.

Will be happy to.

Basically, every Friends of NRA event is a fundraising event to raise funds for the NRA Foundation, a 501©(3) organization.

Half the money raised goes to Fairfax for allocation to nationwide "block grants", and half the money raised comes back to the state.

At an event, one will find a range of NRA packaged merchandise and donated items, and all of the items are either won or purchased, and, if purchased, that's via live and silent auction.

The last Friends of NRA Event in Tennessee for 2008 will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 5:30 PM at the Stones River Country Club, 1830 NW Broad Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Also at the banquet we will have a couple of unique items on the live auction this year. First off, we will have an afternoon with Ronnie Barrett along with a guided tour of Barrett Rifle facility for up to ten people.You can see how the world known Barrett Rifle is built!! Thanks to Barrett Rifles, http://www.barrettrifles.com. As everyone knows plant tours are not available to the general public.

Second, we have two day training class with lodging included by Tactical Response in Camden. Thanks to Tactical Response, http://www.tacticalresponse.com. This two day class from this group of professionals will be a life changing experience!
