Either these are new to the market, or I have been under a rock.  Saw this earlier this week while at Dunhams in Athens, I believe its a Mossberg.  Whats your opinion of this grip, mine is they are just a novelty, no desire here to have one.

Okay, thanks.  Dunhams, sure dedicated alot of space for show and tell.  Just assumed they were new.  I go to a lot of gunshops, and a few shows, just have never seen one.  Makes me wonder what else I am missing.

I think the Zombie craze brought that about. Something to screw around with when your friends come by for a day of shooting? Sure. Needed? I think it's not for functionality, but the Mossberg sales reps might tell you different

I use a similar model when I subcontract as a security operator at Cool Spring Galleria. I find it allows me more freedom of movement when doubling up on my lvl 5 reactive body armor.

Do you crank up some Jackyl while on maneuvers with your tactical chainsaw?

I wonder if anyone here will admit to having one, and their "fun" experience with it.

I'd say it's like riding a scooter, it's all fun and games till your friends find out...

Does it look something like this? I'm kidding of course, stumbled across this on Facebook just now and HAD to use it.  :P

Sent from the future using a flux capacitor.

Its meant to be used while conducting a door breach.

That's the idea but one would have to have a job door breaching to justify it....a full time job doing nothing but blowing doors all day long.

Agree.

We played with this a little in the Army. Intended for shotgun door breaches. Helped a little with higher powered loads and underpowered Soldiers. Lol. I don't think it was ever officially adopted.
