S&W Airweight Hand Spring Install

Recommended Posts

Well, i didn't take enough pictures before i took this apart.   I've searched all over the internet including the S&W forum but the pics they post aren't helping and can't find how this goes back together.  Someone who has one kindly take a pic of how the hand spring goes in?   I've spent pretty much all day trying to figure this out.

there is a blind hole/slot inside the trigger.  The small leg of the spring goes in that hole.  I thought the spring was held in place by a pin, but it sits in the half moon cutoff right by the blond hole.  I had to put the trigger in a vice to hold it in place and use a hex wrench to compress the long leg of the spring under the pin on the hand.
