Not bad. I bought this from them last year when the promotion was 1399 and 24 pmags.

 

Sold the rifle and kept the mags.

For me, it wasn't so much a case of dislike as an opportunity to get my cost back and keep the mags. It worked.

It's not as if I didn't have another rifle. And as little as I shoot anything but pistol, I took the opportunity. Never can tell when a mag shortage will jump up again.

 

And...I really do want to get better acquainted with the Sig 556 I bought last spring. It's already set with an arm brace, just want to do a few things to it.

I got ya. I havent put but maybe a few hundred through my 516 in it's pistol form. Decided to SBR it since all would require was buffer tube and stock. Ended up buying a Geisselle SSA trigger, which I just finished installing. Haven't even shot it yet and I can already tell a noticeable difference from the milspec trigger. I am 20 days into my efile submission, anxiously awaiting being able to finish it off and put some rounds downrange...
