Really nice looking rifle, Dave, and they are really fun to shoot. Hope it gives you a lot of satisfaction. Now get all the magazines and ALL the ammo you can afford to stockpile as the price of ammo is SKYROCKETING.

I just picked up an M1 Carbine from a fellow who wanted the cash more than the carbine. It was made in 1943 by IBM Corp. Fine and fun shooting little piece, but the ammo is becomming expensive.

That is nice! I want one!!! I also want an M1 Garand, and I also want a Luger, and I also want a Broomhandle. So many guns, so little money...:up:

And for those of you that want Garand’s… CMP is saying they will have more this year, rumor is September. You will never buy them for less than you will get them for from CMP. When they are no longer available from CMP the price will really shoot up.

Nice, I love M1 Carbines. Here are a few pictures of the one my grandfather gave to me. It was made by Inland Mfg (GM) 9/1943:
