What's the policy on this with insurance if you are paid for a claim and then now you have recovered two of the guns?

Don't know, I didn't file a claim with the insurance company.

The guns belong to tge insurance company. But they don't want them, probably buy them for dirt.

I always wondered how this worked too. It makes sense that the insurance company should get the guns, but the cops call you, not the insurance company. Edited by BigK

In some cases the insurance companies file a notification with the PD where the report was taken that they paid a claim.
The insurance company owns the guns; if you don’t notify them you are committing a crime. They can sell them back, give them back, or keep them.
