He's doing great and is getting along perfectly with our two Boston Terrorists. It took him about a week to start acting like "himself" and showing us his personality after we got him home from the shelter, but he's a huge goofball. Thankfully he's put some weight back on and looks healthy and meaty now... no more of that bag-of-bones appearance that he had initially.

My only problem to date with him has been when he got loose from me (my fault) and decided to run around the neighborhood, playing the game with me. I literally had to sock him upside the head as he ran by me to get him to stop.

Other than that, you couldn't ask for a better pet. He's an awesome dog.

Your harboring two Boston Terrorists?--MP

Harboring may not be the right word. They held a tea party for Tungsten when he was beginning his career as an administrator. That's not to say he condones their former actions, but they are now well respected members of the community and it wouldn't be fair to judge them by their former actions.

LOL Tungston, they can be hard headed at times but they are also very intelligent dogs and desire to please so training will go a long way. All he needs is to know what you want and he will do it but getting it into his head is the key.

FYI the next time that happens don't run after him, run from him and he will chase you LOL. As long as you run after him he is gonna think it is a game and keep on going.

What I did with Da'Kari when she was a little younger is give her a most favored treat, cheese and I would say "Want some cheese?" and she would run to me knowing she was getting something she loves! When my grandchildren have accidently let her out the door I knew I wasn't gonna get her to come to me cause she was FREE but sure as I ran outside and said, "Want some cheese?" she would run to me and following me into the house and I would immediately reward her with her prize. It is always a back up LOL

I am glad to hear he is doing well, they are awesome dogs!
