More IDPA hypocrisy

Recommended Posts

I'm sure that HQ will counter that the BUG Nationals were not a sanctioned "Tier" match so its up to the local MD to decide.  :ugh:

Still....., I wonder how much of our $40 annual memberships dues went toward supporting this National "Local" fun match?

Isn't it interesting that you can go just about anywhere and shoot a 3Gun match using the International Multi Gun Association's 2-3 pages worth of rules and everybody understands what to do.

Of course IMG is not an “official” association so nobody is making money off the hobby of others.

IDPA needs to realize that the ground could open up this afternoon and the entire HQ could disappear into the Abyss - - - and come this weekend local clubs would still be putting on shooting matches using whatever rules work for them.  Best of all, not a single person (or club) would need to send their money to Berryville, Arkansas to shoot.

I believe the BUG Nationals is ran by S&W not HQ so it would be the MDs responsibility (in the grand scheme of things) to check all the shooters.  Kinda like GADPA so I am interested to see if HQ levies the heavy hand on their primary sponsor.

If that's the case, then who's rules do we go by yours mine ??? Some fellow TGO'ers and I went to the Kentuckyana IDPA match. Where the rules seemed to be left up to the SO's not the book. So for the ones that go by the rules, thank you, to the ones that don't, GO AWAY!!!! We don't need you. This is starting to really get under my skin, remember this is a game play it, have fun, be safe, follow the rules and stop crying. it's up to you to do the right thing so do it.
