I've been sat at Terry Walden's for 4 **#!ing HOURS waiting for the INS to contact the FBI, who will then call the TBI who, if they can be bothered, will call Terry back with my clear background check, so I can pick up this damn rifle!
Every check I've ever had before has taken between 2 & 5 minutes.

I bought an O/U at Academy 2 days ago and it took less than 3 minutes.  Ya just never know I reckon.

Sat at home waiting for a call now.
Usually, I would have taken a couple of rifles to sight in, check over or just plain enjoy, but thinking I'd be shooting this after it was handed over I only brought one.....

Yeah, a .458 Win Mag with a box of hotly-reloaded 510gn solids is not a 50 shot range toy. Between the recoil & $6/shot bill it's not a friendly gun! :D

It's absolutely never been an issue in the past. Just a different box to tick on the form & a couple of extra details to fill out.
