Welp, I became a member of Nashville Armory today.

This is not only the nicest range I've ever been to, but it is the closest one to me(I live in the 12 South/Gulch area).

Every time I've gone in there I've had great conversations with the staff, I've been treated well, and some of their gun prices are actually great. Since I've been looking at buying a Glock 23 recently, I noticed they have even Academy's prices beat for a new gun in store.

Not to mention the free coffee, food truck on sight, and endless shooting(I happen to go to the range when all the rest of you 9-5ers are stuck at work ), rifle range where I can shoot my shotgun, and the great range of accessories, I'd say it's a great situation.

I didn't pay the fee up front for a year, I opted to pay monthly with the option to pay it off when I encounter large sums of cash(musician feast or famine lifestyle )...

I can see how it might turn of some to pay 20 dollars per hour, but seeing how I shoot almost every week, the convenience, amenities, and the fact that I shoot almost every week.. I'd say it's justified.

What do y'all think?

It is a REALLY nice range, the folks are very friendly and helpful. Really like that they have 25 yd distance. Haven't really scoped the gun counter for prices but I'm sure they are quite competitive.

Having a membership at a range is a really good thing to get in some regular shooting practice. I had a membership for going on 2 years at a place back in chattanooga. It is easily worth it if you go and shoot regularly - which spending some real money kinda of encourages you to do so.

But once I got out to real competition/training ranges where you can draw/move/shoot ect., the square range really lost it's appeal. But hope you get the best out of it - stay safe and practice often.
