I assume you're talking about the probability of there being riots and such? Or are you talking about a total collapse of the Americanized lifestyle?

If it's the former, yeah I'm as prepared as I feel appropriate. If it's the latter, no, I don't have everything that I would want stockpiled, stockpiled. I'm not sure I really feel that we are in serious jeopardy of that happening just yet.

Not really. I doubt I'll have my EBR in hand prior to Election Day, so if the mobs invade Boy Scout Road, I'll be fending them off with a hail of .40 rounds.

I don't really expect my neighborhood to be riot-prone, though.

I also have a SHTF get out of Memphis plan. I don't have a SBR, but I do have a 22 rifle. Good for some distance and keep the .40, 12 guage, .38 for anything that gets too close.

This will be a close election either way; if O-dog loses I'm sure there will be some grumbling, maybe a few bottles thrown here and there but it's not like we'll have a race war on our hands. Even here in Memphis. The presidential election is not going to make people go nuts. You know what does? Sports. You'll see more violence in the streets in the town of the school that wins the college football national championship than you will anywhere the day after the election.

Rodney King was violently assaulted on video by white police officers, which of course people got to watch over and over. He had been made into a martyr before the verdict even came out. I don't think O-dog losing would inflame people as much. They'll be mad, no doubt, but I don't see the streets on fire.

I'm working on it. Plenty of bottled water and canned food, extra gas, medical kits, tool, etc. What I'm really short on is ammunition. I'm trying to buy what I can, but money is super tight right now.

I believe it will take the Obamanation at least 2-3 years to completely destroy what is left of our economy (which could prove to be optimistic).

The fire marshal and building inspector were at my jobsite at different times. Both of them said that they were taking the rest of the week after election off and going to the country with relatives due to a meeting that they had here in town about possible riots.

I'm bringing extra magazines and I always have my possibles bag with me. I'm not too worried about anything happening. Most of the people I work with are armed. Plus, its Knoxville, not Atlanta.
