My experience with Anderson Arms

Nervously, I just ordered a lot of stuff from them for two carbines; one I was building, and one my son was building.

I found their shipping to be fast, and their products, as far as I can tell, to be of good quality. Best of all, there prices are very hard to beat.

I'd like to hear your experiences with this company. I like supporting a local company when I can. They are in Kentucky.

Kentucky ain't local.  ;)

Don't have any experience with Anderson's products but I haven't heard anything bad about them.

I've used 7 lowers, 3 are my own, and 5 uppers I believe. Not one complaint from me Edited by KKing

Have one of their lowers, one my 18" rifle. No quality or function complaints, but the lower is kind of busy looking and the markings could be scaled down. Just a minor cosmetic thought that others may not share.

Have 2 uppers on the way right now.

I've been running one of their lowers for a couple years now and I haven't got the first complaint. Honestly It's a mil-spec lower witch is the exact same as any other mil-spec receiver IMO so when it comes to that I will buy as cheap as I can find.

New to AR's and bought a pistol kit the other day . They threw in an Anderson lower for 50.00 so I bought it as well. It all went together without any problems and runs fine . No complaints here. I would buy another one.

AIM has Anderson lowers for $39.95. I recently picked up 3 for future builds. I think shipping to my FFL dealer was around $15 for all of them.

Couple that with the uppers they have for $39 and you can't beat it

I have 4 of them, 3 standard black 1 green tiger stripped one. no complaints at all on the black ones, but the tiger stripped one has absolutely no anodizing or coating at all on the inside of the lower or upper. Just bare aluminum. I built a 6.8 out of that one and it doesn't get shot much so it shouldn't be a big deal, but I would have thought they should have coated it with something. It sure is purdy on the outside though.

AIM has regular Anderson stripped lowers, but they also have Anderson stripped pistol designated lowers. Both are only $39.95. Was thinking of picking up a couple, and maybe building one into an AR pistol. Can I still do this with a "regular" stripped lower instead of buying one that says "pistol?"

Yes, you can. There's no reason to buy one designated "pistol" specifically. Lowers transfer as "receiver only", so that you can build anything you like. Do you have a link to the lowers you speak of?

Looks like they've toned down the markings on these newest ones.  Much better looking.....

Purchased 3 Anderson lowers from primary arms a few months back for $39.99 each.
Now just bought the Anderson upper with forward assist and dust cover from primary arms for $59.99 installed save 10 bucks

Bought a stripped upper and lower from Buds in Severville a week or two ago. If I recall it was right about a $100 out the door. LPK just came in. Now the fun starts.
