That guy has issues.

I became a fan of the gummy bears when I lived in Germany, but I wouldn't even eat a small package at one sitting. There is some sort of unique greasy substance oozing out of em, I'm sure the sugarless have of sort of nasty substance that causes oily discharge. To eat 5 lbs in one sitting will probably cause you to activate your ebolacare!

I have heard a lot about these bears and if I really had someone I hated I would buy them a bag but I can't think of anyone I hate that bad..................

Really?  I have been tempted to buy a bag and leave on the break room table at work.

It's not a question of hate...more like a little much overdue payback. Some of my old workmates need a little reminder that payback is a bee-awch.

Well in all honesty I did consider send a big bag of them to my ex wife but my son told me a while back that she is in bad health and he is worried about her and I thought I would not do that to the woman that provided me with my wonderful 2 Sons and is their sons grandmother........................................ :squint: :squint:

All the "intestinal (non)fortitude" was actually due to the Sugar Free ones, not the ones in the linked ad. Amazon is bad about combining feedback with almost incidental products.

It was the Maltitol sweetener in the others that caused all the crapola. Several of the sugar alcohols affect me that way too if I eat much of it at all.

Mineral Oil is your unique greasy substance.... Watched "How's It Made" the other day and they were making gummy worms and stated that they are sprayed with mineral oil while in the tumbler to give them their shiny apperance..... If I'm not mistaken was mineral oil not our Mother's remedy to get the old bowels moving?

When I first became diabetic,30+ years ago, my mom found some sugar free peanut butter toffee that you see every Halloween and got a bag for me because sugar free candy wasn't as common as it is today and there wasn't much to choose from. Lesson learned very quickly never eat more than one or two pieces a day. Really bad stuff.
