My wife is already complaining about the cold...just last week says it's too hot.

This would freak her completely this morning to wake up to snow. lol

Woke up to a balmy 60 degrees this morning. First shot of cool air that has made it this far south this year. It is a welcome relief.

Here in Mt Juliet I have the first fire for the season, gona be a cool winter.

Working on 4 inches now.....trees are sagging from the wet snow, couple of branches have snapped and fallen.....the Mrs. and I are hunkered down in front of the fire...went grocery shopping yesterday so we have food and plenty of wood for the weekend...power is still on...praise God....all is well at the moment....such is life in the hills..... :pleased:

Power cut out yesterday at 1:00pm...was out until 3:00am.....chilly in the house but I learned several lessons on my emergency preps.....showed me where my plans need improvement....what a difference 24 hours make! All is well now. God is good.
