Upcoming interview with the SEAL who popped Bin Laden

Sadly Chuck nailed it. I am not, nor have I ever been a SEAL, went to BUDS or tried to pass myself off as a SEAL. With that said when I was at SERE we worked pretty closely with the West Coast Teams and I became friends with a few of them. With that said in the 90's you wouldn't know a person on the street was a SEAL unless you knew him or were at a particular bar in Coronado. Back in July I was out in San Diego for a friends retirement from the Navy. I was shuttling his family back and forth and had to take his wife by Balboa. I dropped her off and drove around in the parking lot waiting for her to get what she needed. I see a SEAL LT (0-3) walking through the parking lot in khakis. I watch him get into a blue Jeep with the license plate that read BUDS and his class number. My heart sank a bit, but that prompted me to reach out to some of my old friends to ask them to smack the crap out of that LT. LOL The one I looked hardest for is trying very hard not to be found. His OPSEC is better than my Google-fu. I do know his rank, command and job. Due to that I have been cautious about reaching out.

ahhh typical butter bars... lol

Looks like this guy may have been legit, Pentagon came out today and said this interview is not getting aired and reminded the guy that he signed an NDA even if he was a civilian it still applies.

Hope "someone" releases a hypothetical book like OJ Simpson's If I did it, this is how I would've done it kinda thing.

I didn't see where the pentagon said it won't be aired; they just warned him. But I would guess him or his attorney is aware of this...

You've got your Seals mixed up. That is about "Mark Owen" who wrote No Easy Day, who already gave interview on 60 Minutes.

Here's interview itself:

I don't have them mixed up. I am saying that I assume they have seen what has happened to "Mark Owen".

OIC, didn't get that was your meaning,  sorry.

That kind of warning means it won't be aired.  Fox isn't like a foreign media reporter that can publish the stuff then disappear back into the shadows where thy normally operate.

So isn't this the same idiot who was interviewed in Esquire a couple years ago? If so, his name is already out there. Not the pseudonym, but his actual name.
