I was all in on buying one till the Walther PPX came out way cheaper than I expected. $279-299 from CDNN and it's from a more established manufacturer.

I don't have any personal experience with them but I talked to a guy up at Fort Campbell that had one and he really liked his a lot. On the flip side I was in a gun shop about 2 months ago and a guy came in trying to sell/trade one and the shop owner wouldn't make him an offer so? I don't think the shop owner had ever heard of them before which is why he didn't even make an offer on it so I'm not sure I would place to much weight on that.

I had the TP9 version. It was decent; except the rear sight had more moves than a Deja Vu stripper. POA/POI changed with every shot. Within 10 feet, it was deadly, which is what you're gonna need. But I just felt that it wasn't worth fooling with.

Not well known and lack of after market parts same as the Sar and Witness pistols. For just a range gun may be nice.

Just try to find magazines, holsters or sights for it before purchase just to see where you'll be if you want them.

Don't know about sights, but the new ones coming out use the Beretta magazines.

Really?? That could prove interesting, as well as costly to me, as I have a few Beretta mags here and there.

I do not recall the model I was looking at. I think a TP9. It had the decoder at the top of the slide. Neat at first until I realized the vulnerability of its placement to accidental decocking. Felt nice in the hand but needed some rethinking about the design.

Not a CHANCE of accidental decocking. You have to push really hard on those buttons. It is NOT an easy task. It's a S&W P99 clone. Very good design, really.

(Heck.. I'm talking MYSELF into looking into another one! lol!)

I stand corrected. I looked at it once and for a short time.
