Greek HXP Surplus .303 and .30-06 at CTD

I had to hold my nose in order to take advantage of the surplus ammo deal at CTD, but I ordered some .303 on chargers and then they listed some .30-06 at prices cheaper than CMP so I ordered some of that too. I have already received the .303 and it was all head stamped HXP 76 in beautiful condition on British charger clips. It was so nice that I reordered some of the loose bulk cases that are also available. I haven't received the .30-06 yet, but it will be here tomorrow. This is a great deal if anyone wants to take advantage of it while they have it. Maybe CTD is trying to make amends for some of its past practices by offering this at a good price.

It arrived yesterday and looks great, just like in your pictures.  Only opened one box but all the ammo looked nearly new of 1976 vintage as expected.  All of the chargers in good condition except for a couple that have just a little bit of rust on the edges where the parkerizing had worn off.  Most marked BP but a couple are unmarked.

 

I haven't been this pleased with an ammo purchase in a long time.  It's my first .303 HXP.  Always heard about it but thought it was long gone.  It's not often I shoot the Enfields so this stuff will last a long time....although I'm still tempted to get another case.

Great, glad to hear it. I still haven't had time to check out the .30-06 HXP that I ordered, but will look at it this weekend.

Thanks for the heads up on that. Someone posted about that the other day on another board, but they weren't available yet. I signed up for email notification when it was in stock, but haven't received an email yet. I may have to get a case, just because I don't have any ammo in bandoliers. I wonder what other items they are going to be putting out for sale? :-)

And the bandoliers are gone! I think I may have got one of the last cases...guess I'll see whether I get a "so sorry, but they were already sold out when you submitted the order" email. That won't be the first time that's happened with my dealings with CTD, but I'm going to be positive since they have definitely come through on these last few orders.
