I love it, a drum sure woulda came in handy. He's kinda worrying me though shooting those plates while they're swinging back at him Edited by KKing

Personally, I find it disrespectful. It's a gimmick for a youtube video.

Why? Just a nerdy kid doing something cool.

Do you find Jimi Hendrix's rendition disrespectful with the whammy bar effects meant to emulate bombs dropping?

The swinging plates can be very dangerous. I guy I work with got hit by an ak ricochet trying to double tap a 100 yard swinging plate. Luckily the round had lost most of its velocity and only tore his jacket and left a good bruise. New rule: no double taps on swinging steel plates.

So let me ask, what do you think about American flag doo rags?

I own one, or did for awhile anyway. I also own or have owned American flag print shirts, swim pants, a tie, several pins, multiple belt buckles, and even a pair of BA Rex Kwando American flag print workout pants.

I feel like we've had this conversation before and ended at an impass, but I think you'd have to agree its great to live in a country where two people can have the complete opposite opinion, but for the exact same reason. :USA:

I do agree with that. And I'm not making any big deal out of it, it just rubs me wrong.

Nuff said.

Cool video, neat targets, patriotic.

Of course shooting at steel targets always involves some risk, but it's up to the individual shooter or RSO to manage the risk based on their specific conditions and their personal level of comfort.

If not mistaken out at Norris Oh Shoot found that out as well.  I remember a post about the targets returning fire.

Wasn't even a plate, just a .22 popper type, and might have even been just the small diameter steel frame that held the arrangement.

Plates for sure need to be angled somewhat backwards so ricochet tends to go down to ground, but no guarantees of course.
