I hear good things...pay the extra to get the silver bear it feeds easier for only $10 more per 1,000

I love AIM, but www.ammunitiontogo.com has a better price on it.

nm there price is the same unless buying 1,000 then they are $10 cheaper. This stuff is reported to be much cleaner then Wolf.

Brown Bear is good stuff.

+1

While both are good quality, I choose Brown Bear over Silver Bear because the Silver Bear's zinc plated cases seem to oxidize alot faster than the standard Brown Bear steel case. Admittedly, probably not a big deal unless you're doing waterborn incursions. :)

I've shot about 1500 rounds of .223 Brown Bear 55gr FMJ through my issued Bushy and personal RRA...zero malfunctions.

When I have to buy .223 practice ammo, it's Brown Bear.

I hate hijacking people's topic ... but how is Brown Bear 9mm? I bought 1000 rds Wolf 9mm and it worked fine through my Glock 19. I used the Wolf for a handgun class where we used 500 rounds and not one misfire. Is Brown Bear comparable to Wolf?

Brown Bear is better than Wolf.

In our last Defensive Pistol class, we had someone run approx 1000 Brown Bear through a S&W M&P 9mm with zero malfunctions.

Yay!! An M&P goes through 1,000 rds with no problems!!

And here I figured Tungsten would be the one to jump on that...

Kidding aside, the M&P is a great gun, I just think that S&W lets too many out of the factory that don't work...their lemon ratio (everyone has one) seems to be a little high.

Then again, their customer service is about the best in the industry.

Do they charge for shipping? I bought 1000 rds of 9mm from ammoman.com and shipping is "free". If I were to buy 1000 rds from amunitiontogo.com and they charge $20 or more, then it's not worth it, I'll buy from ammoman.

Thanks

Well, I'm the stick in the mud I guess. I hate silver bear with a passion. TO my sorry eyes it looks too much like a nickel plated brass case. So I bend over to pick it up {ohh my back!} only to find out it's steel...GGGGrrrr then :hat: the profanity begins :D
