As overboard as our country is with frivolous lawsuits, even if the law with employer immunity existed, I doubt many employers would allow it. We have too many activist civil judges who intentionally misinterpret and bend laws to punish the wrong people. Yet their counterparts on the criminal side seem reluctant to dole out real justice unless it's politically correct.

It's hard enough to find justice in the courts system these days...politically correct or not.  And with what passes as "politically correct" is an affront to at least half of the country.

The problem with this is insurance. Do you think most employers really care if you have a weapon while at work. No, not as long as it doesn't interfere with your job. They do care that their liability insurance would be quadruple if you were allowed to carry.
