John McCain wants to "redistribute income upwards to the super rich!"

How can people be this dumb? Refusing to raise taxes on the wealthy is redistributing income to them?

I mean, I was at least somewhat sympathetic towards this guy's views of the current state of the campaign, but when I got to the redistribution line, any respect I might have formed vaporized like dry ice in a nuclear explosion.

So if I get this correct, and please correct me if I am wrong, by the government not taking money for someone it is "redistributing" their money to them. Is this the same logic they use when congress wants to raise the money going to a social program by by say 25% but they only raise it by 15% so now its a cut?

So by not robbing you at the point of a gun, it is redistributing money to you? That is what taxing is, taking what belongs to another person by force and then giving it away in the name of the person that robs you of it.

Why should someone who has more money be taxed at a higher rate than you? Should you be taxed at a higher rate than someone who makes less and why?

You shold be able to keep what you earn/make.
