Those work really well. They use a standard 40 grain bullet that is putting along at ~700 fps. Definitely harder hitting than a CB or any of the Aguila primer only rounds. BTW, they will cycle in lever guns and bolt guns. Add a suppressor and they are stupid quiet but even without they would not alarm anyone out of a rifle.

Yup. I just manually cycle them in a Marlin 60.  Squirrels don't notice the difference between them and a standard 22, and my neighbors don't notice at all!

Be very careful using them in a revolver, some do not make it out if the barrel, this is the voice of experience.

CCI Quiets?  Plenty of oomph to get out of anything I've ever shot them in, to include a Single Six, P22, SR22, 10/22, Marlin 60, and Rem 597. 

 

It's the Aguila Colibri or Super Colibri that I've had to be more careful with... though every one of those has made it out of all of that gun roster, except the 597.  I got rid of that thing before I ever had Aguila 22.

RED you are probably not thinking of the CCI Quiet 22. They have plenty of velocity to make it out of any gun. They come in an all blue 50 round box with a clear bullet divider inside.

CCI Quiets?  Plenty of oomph to get out of anything I've ever shot them in, to include a Single Six, P22, SR22, 10/22, Marlin 60, and Rem 597. 

 

It's the Aguila Colibri or Super Colibri that I've had to be more careful with... though every one of those has made it out of all of that gun roster, except the 597.  I got rid of that thing before I ever had Aguila 22.

The pistol has a good size gap between the cylinder and barrel, first time we shot them we was thinking some were duds, had to knock 3 out and stopped.

It was strange, some worked and some did not.

They did work in our H&R 22 revolver, smaller gap.

Stopped by Academy in Brentwood last night. They had 300,000,000 rounds of that Aguila or whatever powerless .22lr. It's been there for 2 days he said. Nobody wants it. Imagine if Aguila put powder in them! Haha. Edited November 3, 2014 by serbu50

Is it possible the cylinder isn't lining up well with the barrel? Shaving lead on the way into the barrel?

Yeah, I've shot many of them out of my little Smith revolvers.
