Are you handy with tools, do you have a circular saw?

You can get a blade for the saw, cut a square hole for the vent, and cover the extra with a piece of sheet metal.

There are round cutters that are run by a hand drill,

a bit more money,

Problem is time more than anything. Work has been crazy lately. In the past I have always rented the tools to do it but with exterior of the house being brick I don't want to screw anything up. I will most likely do the inside work myself. I am great with drywall so any oops is easily fixed. Main thing is to steer clear of wires etc in the wall. Plus where the vent tube comes out will be visible so I want it to be just right.

Yep. And, if they core drill it, they will most likely bolt the drill to the wall, and then patch the anchor holes. The bit is water cooled. I have used them before. They make a nice hole. There's a reason why most vents go through a rough hole in the brick, and then trimmed with metal flashing.
