anybody got a good source for 123 lithium batteries. They are pricey at wally world so i ordered a 12 pack from Amazon but i think they were used. Didnt nearly last as long as a known new battery. Voltmeter showed varying voltages lower than i would have expected.

when it comes to 123 batteries it is best to buy name brand.  to many other brands and large pack of unknown brands these days that are not as good as the name brand.  when it comes to 123 batteries you can pay now or pay more later.

I ordered a 12 pack from Surefire; they are supposed to have a 10 year shelf life. You can probably find them cheaper though.

Direct from Surefire is just about the cheapest place to get them.  Couple other sites have them for maybe about 75 cents less or so.  Panasonic makes Surefire's batteries IIRC.  Ordered about 800 of them last year and the sleeves were labeled Panasonic.

Surefire's batteries have historically been private labelled Duracell's. So, not only are they generally a decent price, they're also a great battery.

You can probably find a cheaper battery, but I don't know that you'll find a quality battery any cheaper.

I've used 123 Surfire batteries I've purchased off Amazon Prime and had no issues with them...fast and no additional cost shipping.

As a matter of fact I just ordered more this morning. Around $22.00/dozen.

I've bought a couple of dozen from Batteries Plus, their store brand. Can't say I was overly impressed with them. Seems like a good shelf life, but a shorter work life than others I've had.

I bought a Surefire 12 pack back around 2003.  Just put the last pair in my light and they seem to be OK.

When I went to the check out the 10 batteries, they wanted to charge me $1.19 each or $11.90 plus the $3.10 shipping...

Appreciate the assist.
