Well, I was looking through some of my computer files this morning and thought that some of you guys would find this funny.

So! here I am at 3:30am on a saturday morning..watching a Jet Li movie on spike, and a classic line is used.

"all the Kung-fu in the world doesn't help when it comes to women"

Isn't that the truth?

I mean, here we are, just normal guys...we go about our business, work hard, go to parties..play and have fun. and POW!

just like that we get waylaid.

Like lambs to the slaughter we get it...happily walking to our doom, unbeknownst to us.

I guess its hardwired into us huh? I mean, we want a good life, we want a FULL life. Like Bears we just go through life, happy alone, until some chick likes what she sees...and then POW!

Take my brother for example. He's an awesome guy! one of the smartest I know. He works hard, and has some of the most awesome gadgets on the planet! I mean its like a stinkin museum of cool stuff when you visit his house....but be careful...he's "sharing" that stuff with his wife...that usually means that its SO cool, that he's allowed only to take it out and polish it every 5th day of every 4th month. He's insanely happy. notice the vacuous eyes? the stupid grin? yep..he's domesticated....

My girlfriend has a cousin..He's a huge guy with movie star looks. he's 6'11".

arms? like oak trees. A fine specimen of Lobo Americanus. I was over at his house..he works nights and HAD to be tired when I got there in the morning.. next thing you know, this cute little thing comes out and says "SAM!!!! don't even THINK of going to bed, we've got to go to the grocery store!"

While I was there she was expounding on the healthfulness of using some sort of sugar substitute to make a low calorie angel food cake.

she gave me a piece. I took a bite and realized how much it costs to be polite sometimes...that stuff was HORRIBLE!

Sam just put it in his mouth and never made a face..never even hinted at the hideousness of the demon food cake he was eating.

HOW DO THEY DO THAT? I mean, this guy could take on a platoon of pissed of afghan terrorists with not a whimper...but if this little slip of a girl even HINTS that she's displeased...he does the duck and cover routine like he's on the run from the IRS.

I just heard yesterday that they're engaged.....

I guess its one of those things..like the summer solstice or entropy. I can only hope that I'll be half as lucky, and half as happy as he is when I get the proverbial ring in the nose.

Love is blind. In the past 5 yrs. of my life, I've been married twice. The second time to a yankee:confused: , and don't think I could be happier. Kinda weird, but I like it. The differences make our marriage work. It's usually never dull around here for too long:D .

I cannot imagine my life with Susan not in it. Was I way laid ( without a doubt) but man I could not be happier. We all know the hold they have on is biological, from the start. I could say more but hey if your best friend is also your significant other how can that be a bad thing.

nah..I wrote that when I first figured out that I was in love with my wonderful bride to be.

I cant wait for the shoot guys..its gonna be fun!!!
