Heard this guy, who is a Democrat, was a Hilliary supporter, on a Conservative talk show this afternoon, Mike Fleming here in Memphis. He is filing or has filed this lawsuit. Here is his site.

I don't know if it is true or not, but here is my deal. Was Obama born in Kenya? If this is a frivolous lawsuit, then why not just show the birth certificate and be done with it?

I've heard this before yet at this point in time, believe it is not realevant even in the remote possability it is true as the left will overlook the lie and spin the immigrant to President spill. I'd much rather he loose to McCain fair and square on the isssues but I'm damn sure not going to hold my breath.

No, it's not true. He was born in Hawaii, plenty of people have seen the birth certificate. There are so many reasons to legitimately criticize the man, this kind of lying BS is pointless.

It is my understanding that the FBI even says the 3 (get that,3!!!) birth certificates are forgeries.

One has been shown to not be real as the paper used was too new for it to be real at the time of his birth.

I think this info came out about 3 days ago.

Neither of his parents were United States citizens.

Obama is a US citizen. Plain and simple. Being born in the US makes you one regardless of your parent's ages, nationality, or residency. The only exception is a child born to a foreign ambassador accredited to the United States.

This crap is getting old. Is this kind of argument the best we can do? If so, we are screwed come November 4th. We need to be fighting Obama on his political ideology and policies, not this tinfoil crap. It is truly sad.

I would like to see some of "evidence" that his birth certificate is a forgery. A FBI report or press release would be nice, or even a statement from the Hawaii Department of Health that a US Presidential candidate is offering up a BC that is not even in their records. So far, I have seen none. I'll be waiting, but I won't be holding my breath.

Not Relevant. If he says he was born in Hawaii, I gurantee you it will not be proven otherwise. There is way too much money here at stake to make the truth relevant, like it or not. Do you really think the Democratic Machine has not long ago addressed this if it were in fact true?

The argument is that his mother was 18 which would not allow her to qualify under the 5 year rule, the fact his grandmother said he was not born in Hawaii, and the fact his father was a Kenyan citizen. It should have been validated a looooong time ago, which it was not. It is a big issue but at this point will not make a difference.

I do not by the citizenship angle but anything is possible. I just hate made up rumors to smear people and that is what this sounds like. I agree with the other posters that say there are REAL issues that we take with Obama based on solid facts, so lets stick to those things.

LIke I stated in my first post, this is something I heard on a conservative radio show yesterday, and a few days before, and it is an active lawsuit that has been filed. I also posted the snopes link to show where that they said this is not true. But the fact still remains, the lawsuit has been filed and why he won't just show the birth certificate to clear up the question. It's that simple. What is he hiding? This makes me not trust him as a person so this is relevant.

It is relevant in regards to who the hell is this man that has a "spirtual" adivsor of 20 years that has gone on record that he hates the USA, hates white folks, has a close association with a domestic terrorist, been a senator for a year, I know three years, but for almost 2 years he has been campaigning, is anti gun and votes that way to back it up, thinks common folks cling to their religion and guns... so my thought is that this is just one more thing that makes me question this guy and not trust this guy, there seems to be, in my mind at least, a patter of deception, or dishonesty, or that he is always trying to redirect things away and I just don't trust him.

He is not hiding anything in regards to his BC. It has been released for everyone to see for months now. Hell, it is posted in this thread, and there is also a link to a site that shows it in even further detail (although I hate to cite FactCheck as a source, they have it right in this case). Obama is fighting the lawsuit because it is a stupid, frivolous lawsuit filed by an ardent supporter of one of his political opponents (Hillary Clinton). If the BC was fake, then the Hawaii Department of Health would have put the matter to rest a long time ago.

I looked at Berg's website, and I see a lot of allegations, but no physical evidence (no surprise there :-\). His complaint filed with the court is completely laughable. He cites internet rumors and Wikipedia as some of the sources for his complaint. Wow! It is truly ridiculous. Berg is also a 9/11 Truther, as he has previously filed a RICO lawsuit against Bush government officials for conspiracy in the 9/11 attacks. Berg obviously has his tinfoil hat on too tight. If this is who you want to put your stock in, then go ahead. Good luck.
