looking for long range tactical competitions

Title pretty much says it, I will be living in the Nashville AO soon so I would like to find this type of competition. Really any where in the state I dont mind driving....even in KY...anything? Seems a vary scarce shooting discipline here in the SE

Strategic edge in chapel hill and the club by Arnold Air Force base aka aedc have long range shooting if that helps

Early 2014, Rockcastle in KY hosted The Mammoth Sniper Challenge in January...., and everybody froze their ass off!

 

Its going to be January again in 2015, but the match has moved to the Legion Operator Training Group in Blakely, GA - - - which is so far south of Atlanta that it might as well be in Florida!

If you are looking for NRA F Class mid-range (600 yards) and long-range (1000 yard) matches, we shoot those in Memphis, Tullahoma and Oak Ridge.  While those matches are known distance and not tactical, I have found them to be a great way to keep your fundamental scoped rifle shooting skills dialed in.

Oh no mark, ol' stew bear and myself will be there. Stew will be my spotter. Going to have that uber professional doing all the leg work. I'm just the trigger puller. I have the easy job :)

As a matter of fact I fly out at 7:30am to Arizona tomorrow for two more sniper schools. One just wasn't enough.... :)

i was there from 10-12. what schools you going to? i havent been to any civilian schools but been to a few military sniper schools. even instructed two schools
