That's awesome. Good for her. I really think some people are just naturals.

 

I took a friend shooting yesterday. It was only his 2nd time shooting a handgun and I have never seen anyone pick it up so fast. I'm not exaggerating when I say that he had a quarter size group with his new XD service model at 7 yards. 

 

I can't shoot a group that tight if my life depended on it and I've been doing this for 5 years. It was amazing to watch and I think he's hooked now.

How can someone get into these types of events around Nashville?

There are lots of matches around Nashville. There just about isn't a weekend that goes by that doesn't offer some type of shooting competition. And all are beginner friendly!
