Separated at birth from the Hi-Point?

The use of MIM in the barrel is disquieting to me but everything I've reviewed indicates its a non issue. Considering the ergonomic (great) and price (equally great) this pistol is an excellent value for the dollar. FWIW if I were in the market for a new G-19 or M&P 9 I'd probably have to really consider the PPX and some extra magazines instead as all indications are its that good of a deal.

Had one. Only issue was lack of a holster. I couldn't find one. I have felt several of them; the triggers vary. Some are as good as the PPQ, some aren't even close. It's one of those "in hand before you buy" pistols. And when you get a good one, GRAB it. Don't take another one.

CDNN is selling several versions for $299 and less, with a bunch of free stuff.  Heck, that cheap might be worth rolling the dice, I dunno.

If I were looking for a Walther it would be a PPQ. If I were looking for something smaller and slim I would get a Kahr PM9. Have both and really like them.
