LOL. Who is that kid? Mary Poppins son? I think he forgot the lamp. Wouldn't anyone notice him limping around with the shotgun in his pants?

Notice they show him drawing from a standing position, not sitting down or walking. I'm sure you can conceal just as many in a uniform if you really tried.

That's just a propaganda piece to scare all the women on school boards into enacting ineffective and ridiculous dress codes and other knee jerk reactions, for what purpose I have no clue. I'd like to see junior try to sit down, walk up stairs or even walk period.

After Columbine my school of 400 out in the middle of nowhere adopted a goofy dress code that was supposed to be the end of all school violence. Now someone explain to me how having your shirt tucked in with the threat of detention is going to stop anything? You could leave it untucked, walk in with your weapon concealed and start shooting. I think the threat of detention or getting sent home was kind of moot once the murder charges would start piling up or you pulled a Columbine and blew your own brains out.

Oh and we had a a single uniformed cop that got paid to stand in the hall all day if for some reason the dress code didn't work, I guess we were 200% safe. There's your first victim and a free gun and ammo. To be running a "center of learning" some people sure are dumb.

Walking with a shotgun down your pants like is harder than people think. Not to mention, it's a pain in the ass to get one out of your pants.

Dress codes don't do a thing for weapons violations. The kids just get more creative in hiding them. As for the NAA Mini-Revolvers I saw, I've got one, and I can hide it in my sock without any trouble.

It's not even about getting around the dress code if you're going to shoot up the place, just ignore it. I mean what the hell are you going to get life in prison to be served directly after your week's detention? Sort of like places that ban concealed carry if you think about it.

That kid is the son of a man who does similar demos. I've seen the dad pull over 100 weapons (knives, knuckles, and guns) from his person wearing only normal dress.

Bump.

Dress codes just reinforce the teaching of conformism. We want sheep, so let's start 'em young. Creativity and individuality be damned. Not like anything good ever came out of those two things... :D

One addition: And the really dumb kids don't even learn to work the system. I've seen some truly clueless people out there...

There is SOME research that suggests school uniforms/dress codes do reduce violence in schools, as do a variety of other measures. However, no dress code, no matter how draconian, would stop a determined VT-type crazy BG. Some things cant be protected or forbidden by legislation, and attempts to do so ultimately are futile and lead to an erosion of freedoms of the rest of us.

You know I'm not surprised someone out there found a study that proved kids would be safer if every one of them were forced to buy a $10 pair of ****ty pants for about $70 from the school. It's just a natural extension of the college bookstore scams. $0.50 for 4 sheets of paper stapled together I was required to buy to take a test. Or like mining coal to get paid in scrip that's only good at the company store where everything is marked up 50%.

In the next county over which lies in Kentucky about 75% of the property taxes go to the schools. Maybe one day they can work enough scams and get enough money so that all the kids can sit around in castles with golden hallways and learn about self esteem since the curriculum is so dumbed down to pass the people who can't even speak English. One day maybe all the tax money I pay that goes to schools even though I have no kids can be used to buy a big magical machine to pump sunshine into everyone's ass and although they can't string 3 words together to make a sentence they'll all feel good anyway.

And you know what, I'll feel good too since I'll know I'm doing my part to provide a large extravagant baby sitter for someone else's kids who get to sit for a mandatory 8 hours in a celestial palace that rivals the Vatican. I'll live on beans and rice to provide lobster and steaks for the little tykes because you can't learn unless you have the proper nutrition.

:rofl::D:mad::D:biglol::rofl:

You've been thinking about this for a while haven't you. I'll have to admit, that was good.

My mother is a teacher and I can't believe some of the stuff teachers have to put up with now days. What happened to the days of "if you don't pass, you fail and have to come back next year and be the kid that gets laughed at cause you were too stupid to try hard enough to better yourself." And if the kids aren’t doing well in school, it’s automatically the teachers fault. They must not be trying hard enough to settle these wild irresponsible students down, but yet it’s always the ones that have no sense of direction in life, nor the respect for higher authority figures. Mommy and Daddy will get them out of this one as well. OOOOOOhhhhh no, now we have the 'no child left behind act", where you can't fail these nincompoops. They need special treatment cause their just not able to understand. Well no wonder. Look at their home life. When I was growing up, my parents were in every aspect of my school life. (my mother didn't become a teacher until I was in the 8th grade). If I didn't do my homework, I didn't play outside. If my grades were bad, I didn't play in school athletics (which I loved). And God Almighty forbid I get a whoopin at school, cause my parents knew before I got home and it was my responsibility to tell them. If I didn't fess up to it when I got home, sitting down at the supper table wasn't the best of experiences. I had incentive’s to work hard. Now they all expect it to be handed to them cause their parents don't care enough to actually be a parent. Now their seen as a tax break, and the more you have, the more money you get back at tax time.

Sorry once I started I couldn’t stop.
