IWB for big guys?

I don't understand how any of you carry IWB or OWB at all, regardless of the gun and holster, and still keep it perfectly concealed without ever printing. Down here in the southern states it's nearly always hot and humid, making long heavy shirts very hot and uncomfortable, let alone 2 shirts. And if you just wear 1 very loose t-shirt it will still print very easily when you bend, walk, pick up things, stretch, etc. Even if you find that one magic outfit that will do the trick, you can't wear that to all places like church, office jobs, etc. In my experience nearly everyone carrying IWB or OWB will print at various times throughout the day, they just don't notice it or care. Only time I did any IWB or OWB carry was when it's cold enough to have a jacket or layered clothing, and even then I typically prefer the comforts of a galco shoulder holster.

For most of my life, my average body temperature has been 99.9 degrees.  I am very warm natured.  I keep the heat at home set on 68 degrees in the coldest part of winter and run the air conditioner in my bedroom full blast at night in the warm months.  I think sometimes I freeze even my poor dog out when it is just cool enough for me to be comfortable (and she isn't a little dog.)  So in the hottest parts of the year, it is pocket carry all the way, for me.  When it is just 'warm' and not 'hot', however - like this time of year - I can stand a thin t-shirt (especially if it is a sleeveless t-shirt or a tank type shirt) under a thin, short sleeved shirt.  Hawaiian type shirts, for instance, aren't heavy.  Often, cotton or cotton blend (such as short-sleeved denim) shirts work well, too.  In winter unless I am going to be outside for an extended period I often don't even wear a jacket so an unbuttoned, long sleeved denim shirt over a tucked in t-shirt works well and is comfortable.

With that setup, people who know me and know I am carrying still say that they can't tell.  I am also not fanatical about occasional printing or the odd, incidental exposure in most situations.

I don't have a carry belt. I wear a Carhartt belt... yes, most all of my clothes are Carhartt simply because they last forever. I have several pair of the work pants that are over 10 years old. Even their jeans wear longer. It's about time to replace my belt but it is about 5 years old and it has been wet numerous times from wading the river in shorts.i wear it everyday. Most of the carry belts that are leather are reinforced with nylon from what I've been told. Usually you want a 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 belt if your belt loops will support that size.

I did a search on youtube after a friend mentioned the edc videos. Some of those guys must wear 2 or 3 belts and suspenders with all they carry! LOL. I try not to pack my pockets but when you sit back and think about it, you do carry a lot. You have the weight of the pants, your holster and carry weapon. I carry an extra mag in the little side pocket on my pants. Then a knife, key ring with 10 or 12 keys, can of dip, wallet and a thrunight tn12 flashlight if I'm going to be out after dark. Everyone has a big phone nowdays. It's the only other thing on my belt.

I am a big guy.  We really just a fat guy.  I have been carrying for years iwb.  It can get a little uncomfortable if it is hot and humid but overall this works very well for me.  I never tuck in my shirts so there is no printing.  I carry my Kahr PM9 in a D M Bullard iwb holster at 3:30 - 4:00 position.
